It didn't sound like he was actually banned. It sounded like the guy wanted confirmation from a doctor on a case he didn't understand, regarding an extremely dangerous disease. It's what I'd do, frankly. I'd ask a doctor what to do as well.
It's not like he was bitching about it or anything. He did the smart thing, and the family overreacted (not that I wouldn't, but cmon, the news doesn't need to hear about it).
