Sorry if this is a stupid question, but I've recently noticed that there are times when my attraction to females is much stronger than my attraction to males, or vice versa, or when it's about an even 50/50 split. There don't appear to be any triggers or causes for it, it's something that just sort of happens on its own. Is this a common or unusual thing, and how many of you experience something like this?

I think it's normal. Some bisexual people are split evenly down the middle with guys vs. girls, and some might favor one over the other but are generally steady... but plenty of them fluctuate. Even people who label themselves as gay or lesbian often experience some degree of fluidity; it's an individual experience.

I sometimes feel attraction towards women, even though I am pretty sure I am gay. It could be hormones, depending on how old you are. I remember when I could get in the mood staring at a freaking brick wall. :l It was weird. You could have, as Monocle said, fluctuating bisexuality, where you feel different for one or the other gender. It's NORMAL! =D
