ok so now im outto almost all of my circle of friends (as fully gay im out to everyone as bi) here at myy new school (lol like 5 girls, yeah i know i need to change my out status to most people) and we had a writing assignmentt for english about choices and tolerence and stuff mrs. hollanders waay big on tolerence and equality which is why i choose to do my essay about being gay and letting others know and stuff, my friend margaret (mom, lol shes the smart responsible one) thought it was waaay awesome. i wrote it in like two hours so...... oh well but here it is

Choice effects about everything you do. You could choose to eat a banana or an orange for a snack, but you usually don’t think about whether you need more potassium or vitamin C in your diet. That’s just one of those everyday choices that you don’t really need to think about, but then there are the big ones that take weeks or even months to think about. Like choosing to go into college or go straight into the work force. Almost all choices have consequences, whether good or bad. For a choice like that you need to weigh all of the options and consider the outcome. If you go to college and earn a degree, you automatically make more money when you start working because of it. If you enter the work force fresh out of college, then you’ll probably make minimum wage for quite a while.
In her talk with us, Dr. Eger told us stories about how she choose to not give up and keep fighting for freedom and a better quality of life. She also told us that everything we do is choice, and I believe her. But I usually don’t think about choices consciously. Like when I told my mom I was gay. I had known that I was going to do it and I knew that I’d wanted to, so I did. I’ll admit that when I told her I was way scared. It was the most terrifying thing I’ve ever done. Not even my first ride on real rollercoaster, which was last summer, was scarier. I even almost regretted it, but then she told me that she loved me no matter what and that she would support me in everything that I choose to do. Then she, of course, started talking about sex and the moment was ruined.
So, yeah, I’m gay, and some people won’t like that, as you may have noticed. I know that some will consider me a sinner and tell me that I’m going to hell for not following Jesus’s ways, as stated in the bible, but Jesus didn’t write the bible, and he didn’t teach it either. He taught love acceptance, and forgiveness for everyone, but some people just don’t seem to get that. I know that some will call me a nasty fag and other horrible derogatory terms, but I don’t care; I’ve got two words for them, two words I probably shouldn’t put in this essay. And If that’s what makes them happy, to hate me for being who I am then that’s alright I don’t need them anyway. I only need those who don’t care, those who accept and love me for who I am, not who I love. This is what makes me happy, and I know it’s not a choice to be gay; my choice is to share it with others. It’ll probably affect the rest of my life. It’ll affect how people see me, the jobs that I get, or don’t get; and the relationships I make with others, but its how I choose to live my life and I don’t really care what anyone else says if it gets in the way of my happiness.

well, depending on how your teacher is grading it, meaning grammar, usage, etc...then it needs a little work, and idk how your teacher is going to react to that...BUT on the other hand, i thought it was really great, and it looked like you put some thought into it, but like i said, idk if you're supposed to have this in essay form (with a 3-part parallel thesis, 5 paragraphs, etc.) but overall, i thought it was great, i particulary liked the part you written about how its not your choice to be gay, but your choice to share it with everyone...i like that...well, hope i helped out...

she'd basically call me out, like i have a really hard time starting essays, with all that 3 part thesis crap, and she was making her "rounds" around the class, looking at everyones work, and when she got to me, she just like got all mad and shit-cuz i didnt have my thesis complete...she was a bitch! and she's so rude, she needs to get laid! and what's even worse, is that i have to have her next year for english 4, cuz she's the only teacher!! it sux...i kno...
