What did you do in childhood that brought you great joy and fulfillment of the day? I would wake up every morning, and my brother and I would ride on our bikes around the cauldesac. It was so refreshing to do that. I wish I still had my bike. =(
I would go out and search the overhangs at the drop off near our farm. I still haven't seen all of that place.
Me and my friends used to have crazy airsoft gun wars in this semi abandoned construction site. We were also really into super smash bros and goldeneye on the N64. I miss the good old days!
A few activities I recall: Acting out scenes from favorite books, like Hunting for Hidden Gold (a Hardy Boys book) when I was in early elementary school. I always liked being Frank Hardy, unless the scene involved him getting bashed on the head or something. A phase as an "inventor" when I drew all sorts of probably impossible inventions. There was a phase (about sixth grade?) when I put on pretty dreadful plays. The last plays staged were just this short of plagiarism of a favorite book.

I used to go exploring with my old friend from across the street. ...In fact, he and I did like everything together. We rode bikes, hiked, played video games, etc. Ah yes, fun times.
I remember I used to make my dad set the VCR up to record episodes of DBZ on tape so I could watch them when I got home from school. And I'd run off the school bus, as fast as I could go so I could watch them before I had to do chores. Always made my day to get that one episode in. I miss connecting Gameboys with my best friends, trading Pokemon and playing Four Swords. Or going over to each other's houses to play Gamecube and N64 games. I especially miss the bliss that came with being able to lay in the grass, watching the sky for hours. Or playing on the swingsets and go swimming in the summer. And collect weird bugs and stuff.
This is going to sound weird but I have fond memories of going on errands with my mom. I always thought it was fun to go to different stores and just hang out with my mom when I was a kid. Sometimes if I was lucky I'd get treat somewhere (e.g., candy at the grocery store). I am an only child and lived in an area where there weren't really any other kids, so most of my memories are either with my parents or doing stuff alone.
