normally at clubs.... the last guy i met was at the gym but that was random... i know there are apps on the android that people use to meet up with eachother... dont think im allowed to disclose the name of the apps...
I wouldn't recommend certain clubs or apps unless you're looking for, uh, a very specific sort of "meeting"... Sorry to hear that. It seems there aren't a lot of resources out there for people who don't live in or near a big city.
Hopefully after I move up north (Upstate New York) I will have better luck and be more willing to go out my comfort zone and seek new people. Here’s hoping.
Haha, I guess when I typed the title I was only considering the meeting where no sex is involved. And I mostly meant local channels. The types of places with a conducive atmosphere for find people I can't meet to talk to.
There is no sure fire way to go about it. You do need to put yourself in a more accepting, open environment (hang out in an artsy part of town, or Starbucks, or a Barnes and Noble - that's a gay hotspot in my town. Haha) don't think you'll easily walk into Home Depot and find someone. I've learned that you can't expect anything. Gay clubs, apps, and online sites are used mainly for sex. You could possibly consider a good online dating site, but that means you have to be out and that you will probably have to pay. I've looked before and they usually have some good guys. It could be a joke, but at least they are more accredited.
maybe a night class at local collage maybe the collage has a support group. with you working in construction you could be quite fit looking bet it wont take long to find someone . Just saying:icon_wink
