Ok, so what the hell happened here? >...< This is Oxford last Friday on my way to my Japanese tutor. Where else in the world but England do you get this kind of fucked up weather? lol.
idk...in Jamaica if it's not sunshine....it's rain. once in every 10 years we have hail during the winter season but..that's just about it.
Hehe, I find it freaky when it's all grey, cloudy and depressing, yet you can see sunlight shining on everything. It's typical British weather to be grey, cloudy and depressing so I don't see how it's raising an eyebrow for you. It was really sunny this morning though on my way to school... it made me happy.
We had snow here too. Ugh! There is supposed to be between 1 feet and 12 feet (dang weatherman can't decide) on the mountain passes tonight.
We often have those kinds of storms in the summer time - black clouds and heavy rain followed shortly after by clear skies and sun. But yes - we're having a cold March here in Toronto as well. I'm VERY tired of winter and am LONGING to put the top down on my car!
We get uber sun and clouds while raining all the time around here... like every single time it rains in the spring.
lol... i love the British Weather, i was there in the summer and while it was nice and sunny in London and up to the Midlands it was nice and cool and cloudy above the Breckon beacons and the scotish highlands, really cool
There is no point in having an open top car in the UK. We could probably only open it 3 or 4 weeks a year.
I'm so moving to the UK when I'm older. I love the cold. It makes me feel alive. We get amazing storms at my house though, sometimes beforethe sun comes up, well be having thunder and lightening and the sun will come up from underneath the clouds and the rain get illuminated....looks really coool. But its really hot in summer and I hate that. So Moving to the UK once i've paid my medical school bills.
When I was younger, I *literally* thought England was always cloudy. Actually, it was only a couple years ago that I stopped believing it.
Melbourne. Sometimes it's literally like four seasons in one day. Actually the other day I was walking home and it was bucketing down with rain, yet I could still feel the warmth of the sun on my back... it was so weird!
