Happy things.

My happy list consists of my job, writing, sitting outside on those days where you can wear long or short clothes and be perfectly comfortable, and my pets, including my neighbor’s dog who always barrels people over to reach me and become a perfect angel lol.

Ugh I cannot believe I forgot music! All of This started playing and reminded me music is a big one. Also, being with friends though that equals job lol.

 

Crawling in bed when the sheets are still cool,
ripping duct tape in a perfect line,
splitting an oreo with all the Stuff on one side,
singing along loudly to disney songs and getting all the words right,
when the rim of the milk glass is wide enough for the cookie,
the split second I hit the water when I dive into the pool,
slipping on dry swim trunks and surf shirt made of that slick material,
jumping off a tree branch or fence and landing perfectly on my feet,
when a stranger calls me 'sir' or 'kid' or 'young man' in passing,
flinging off my dirt caked shoes and shirt after softball practice,
coasting down a hill on a bike with no hands,
biting into a gigantic, dripping slice of watermelon and getting the juice all over my face,
winning a wrestling match with my brother and flinging him onto the couch,
thats my happy list

 

On my happy list I have playing my guitar; writing my poetry; college; long walks in the country; nice warm sunny days; my friends, even though it looks like I'm abandoned on my birthday this saturday and the thing that makes me happiest of all, and pretty much the only thing making me happy at the moment, my son.

what I want to say is that I like the video, it's great. It reminds me of the movie "Amelie from Montmartre", there were quite similar scenes, does anyone remember it?

what makes me most happy is any contact with my beautiful girl crush - though she doesn't necessarily need to be naked ;D
