Ok, so we have a huge school assembly coming up, I was asked to deliver a small speech or something that I wrote. So I'm planning to come out and wrote this poetry (it's the only thing I CAN write) I'm also going to be helping my friend out with it, so it'll sort of be like killing two birds with one stone. I need to have this checked out, and I can't exactly show this to anyone else, so I would really appreciate any reviews. Anyways, that's my friend's name down there, as you can tell he's sort of been having some bullying problems in school because of his sexuality, I'm hoping if he heard this he'd be a little more encouraged. I sort of hoped that people would conclude my sexuality from it, I mean, I think very obvious. But, what do you think? I mean, is it good? Any hints or stuff I can make better? Thanks a lot for the help! I really appreciate it
it's good, i don't know much about poetry but it sure does show that you have feelings for your friend maybe cause you wrote this poem to another guy and at some parts you are describing him and expressing love to him, that would be a hint on your sexuality
I fed this through Google Translate (I can't read Arabic, or any language other than English sadly), and here's what it came up with (keeping in mind that machine translations are imperfect, I probably get the gist of it): Your love from this is obvious - I especially think that the part about remaining cowards is appropriate for a coming out speech to explain why you haven't done it thus far. I might infer your sexuality from this, but I really think that an explicit statement would be better.
