I can't stand having a dirty room or car, especially the latter.

    Both are pretty much spotless.

I've been known to be messy, but lately I've been making an effort to completely clean up my house and keep it looking like a hotel room. Lol.

I'm perfectly tidy... I don't live alone though...

I'm, unfortunately, very messy. It's a source of constant annoyance for many in my life.
However I am ever so slightly obsessive about cleanliness. My mess is clean mess, existing only because I have not the patience for tidying up.

My room looks like a laundry bomb went off in it. I do enjoy cleaning up my room, especially my desk, but I cannot be arsed to bother sometimes. I'm quite messy.

I don't have to have everything spotless, but I like my apartment to at least be orderly (my car, though, pretty much has to be clutter-free or I'm not satisfied).

Depends on how far I am into the school semester. I start spotless and it gets worse the closer to finals I am.

Isn't there, like, a half way option?

I am absolutely stressed now that dishes are sitting in the sink not clean.
I refuse to clean them. In fact, I put all the clean coffee mugs in the sink, so one of my suit-mates (who makes the mess) will have to do some cleaning =) Jesus, I am done living with messy people after this semester. (I hope...)

Plus next year I will have a dishwasher again =D Life saver

My desk is quite messy, but my room otherwise is clean. Once in a blue moon I initiate "Operation Cleanup!" and shove all stray papers into the recycling or folders; I stack folders on shelves; and I spray the desk with lemon-scented disinfectant for a good wipe down.
There's a drawer I refuse to open though, and taped it shut. There's probably something crawly living in there, but if there is, it's been there for months- the tape seal is unbroken- and no way I'm opening it now to tidy it up. :icon_eek::help:

I'm very messy, not not garbage just clutter and a few empty coffee cups.
But my car is clean as can be. =)

My room is a complete mess. But it's not really my fault; I don't have enough storage space for my books, art supplies and paper so they just float around everywhere. There are clothes everywhere for the same reason...

I can’t stand when my car is borrowed and left a mess, and other things have to be neat and orderly. When I go to the book store I catch myself organizing the books lol. At restaurants I have to line my dishes perfectly. My room… I moved two years ago and still haven't unpacked, same for the two years before that when I built my bed two months before I moved again. I have a pile of clean clothes on the chest at the end of my bed and a pile of dirty clothes stacked on a small bin. (I keep saddles on my laundry hamper lol.) People are shocked when they go from seeing me in public to catching a glimpse at my room. I fall into an inbetween category.

You should've added a couple of middle options, as well.

Besides my desk, locker, and under my bed, my room has clothes all over the place. Don't open my closet, you might find a monster under the massive amounts of clothes. LOL!

Oh yeah, my closet is barely two feet deep and has a garbage bag of laundry and the shelves are piled with clothes. I have to fight the door shut, and currently it is blocked closed lol.

I have OCD, so my body has to be perfectly clean. But when it comes to my room, there's always a mess

I love when everything's clean, but 97% of the time my car is a rolling filth machine.

I prefer to have a clean home, but as I'm in school right now I force myself to ignore the messes/dust/clothes lying around and focus on schoolwork/grades. Otherwise, I keep it pretty tidy in here.
