didn't you showed me ads of gay marriage equality on the sidebar a few days ago? now you are suggesting to me a page that supports traditional marriage? make up your mind! xoxo
My FB page is pretty damn gay right now, since I found a pro-same-sex marriage page that keeps posting great pictures that I want to share on my wall. Lol. How do you feel about simply changing your profile picture to a red/pink equal sign? Everyone is doing it today, to show support of same-sex marriage, so it's kind of a casual way to hint at your opinions on gay rights.
I get the weirdest ads on facebook. Since I don't have a gender set, I one time got an ad for "be a real man of god!"...
I keep getting stuff like that, too. I have no "Interested In" status, just a minute, nearly unnoticable hint. Only one person EVER noticed, and it was my best friend. She is so sneaky. xD I get stuff like "Save yourself and be God's follower!" Yadayadayada. @ 461 467 I guess I can do a gutsy thing like that. To make it even better, I'll find one like a grumpycat = sign? Or a video game one? Idk.
I am SCARED of even changing my facebook to red.. @_@ I thikn I am still friends with some ppl from my old church or high school, and a few cousin. i am also friend with my mother and sister on fb
I came out on facebook awhile back and it really wasnt bad. Everyone was very supportive. If feels really good to be out finally.
I once got an add inviting me to date other Jewish boys in New York, when I have my religion on Facebook set unambiguously to Atheist and my location set unambiguously in Massachusetts.
I just started getting ads for lesbian dating sites on my sidebar. How did that happen? I'm not even officially out on facebook. Maybe it is the private messages with friends? lol
I changed to the red box equal sign. My cousin did the same thing, and, as far as I know, she's straight. But there can be risks depending on who is on Facebook, and how they might react. If the reaction is likely to be severe ("You don't EVER say ANYTHING nice about those gays! Or I'll kill you!"), saying anything on Facebook is likely to be a bad idea. But it might be safe if they are certain to shrug, and say: "Well, I don't like gays, but the kid is young and surrounded by all those liberal teachers! He'll come around on his own!"
