So I had this moment while trying to pick a movie the other night...

I've been so stressed and obsessed with my sexuality lately I thought I should watch a movie and relax and not think about it for a bit.Looking for a something to watch went something like this:

My brain: Oh The L Word...

Me: No! No gay stuff tonight!

My Brain: Margret Cho! She's funny!

    Me: GAY!

My Brain: Hmmm... Here's that Butch Jamie movie I wanted to see!

    Me:

My Brain: Oh, I know! I've always meant to see But I'm a Cheerleader

Me: Seriously Brain can you not come up with one single thing that isn't COMPLETELY GAY?

So then it occurs to me that I've always watched super gay movies. This isn't me obsessing, this is a completely normal selection of things I'd pick to watch.

Which struck me as hilarious and got me thinking about all the clues I over looked for years.

What about the rest of you?

Hmm… Best major clue I can think of is my obsessions with the ladies in my life and the girl I used to make out with. That’s a great big "HELLO! You dense, irritating beast of burden!”:roflmao:

Okay, no idea why I quoted from Shrek…

I used to always tell my friends in the past, before I knew anything about being trans*, that if I were a guy I'd be gay. And well what do you know, I was right all along.

My cousin's friend and I were "close" when I was younger(I was 12, he was 16) and I watched a porno where I saw a man fold his penis into a "vagina" and his wife "screwed" him. So I asked him to show me how to do it and he couldn't because everytime he touched me I got rock :***: hard. :roflmao:

Besides sexual attraction to males, I didn't actually show any signs of being gay. Although that in itself is pretty much THE factor for being gay. I just mean that I wasn't interested in things that were not common amongst straight males (and it's still that way).

Fantasizing about girls (and acting upon some of those fantasies) for about four years really should have clued me in - I have no idea why it didn't until after I graduated high school.

As far as my gender is concerned, I consider my whole childhood to be one. XD

As far as sexuality is concerned, I only recently realised that as a kid I could never understand what the difference was between kissing a guy and kissing a girl. It seemed puzzling to me that people found it different or even disgusting to kiss someone of the same sex. It's lips in both cases. Skin. Both should feel nice. Dunno if it counts as a clue, though. Probably it's just me being a little rebel. XD

And I've just found a photo of mine from when I was about 10 in which I have a very gay smirk (the stereotype anyone?) all over my face. I'd just put it down to being cocky but I was quite the shy kid. >.>

I was always super gay, I swear I don't know how nobody brought up to me sooner. When I was ten or so I started dressing in guys clothes, you know sports jerseys and basketball shorts. I hated girly things. I made a Valentine's Day card for a girl in my 2nd grade class but my grandma wouldn't let me give it to her. I obsessed over two of my friends. I was always way up in gay rights since age twelve. Phew. I was always a butchy little girl lover.

Hmmm...being in love with a friend.
All my first sexual fantasies were about women.
I've been really sensitive whenever gay or lesbian topics were brought up.
I've always been really enamored with the female form in general.
I've made out with a few girls...

It's always been painfully obvious (not to me).

There were possibly small clues as a child, but it's hard to say for sure, since there might be "other" explanations that are just as valid as saying, "GAY!"

The first clue that cannot be explained away was the interest I had in seeing boys nude in the locker room after PE in junior high. Although I did a great job of denying anything, telling myself I was just envious of their better built bodies.

My favorite movie was Chicago, and I used to watch "He Had It Coming" over and over again. You know, the number with all the female leads writhing around in black leather corsets singing about why they killed their husbands?

I was like, "Cause the choreography is just... really really good!"

OMG I loved that movie too. I actually got in trouble because we watched it in an after school club thing and I vouched for it when another student said it might be inappropriate and claimed it wasn't that bad.

Oh God, this made me laugh.

I would neatly tuck my stuffed animals into bed next to me. I would also comb my mom's hair and ask her if I could cut it.
