Corsets are a wonderful article of clothing that are starting to make a comeback.
Do any of you have corsets?
Pictures are not necessary, but if you'd like to show them off, you are free to do so.

I myself have three. A red under bust, a purple overbust and a black overbust.

Where there is talk of corsets, I will be there!

I don't own any, but I knew a girl who did. We pretended to be prom dates in one dress up scenario. Too bad she didn't like me like I liked her but then we got in the Jacuzzi in our dress up outfits. O_O

Nothing but fun with corsets...

I have a denim corset top. I like it lots and lots but have only worn it once. I got sick around then (pressure on the spleen is not fun!) and it was getting too cold for wearing it much longer anyway lol.

But I suppose if they are being worn of one's own free will...

Well I never had the misfortune of having to wear either, but I'm sure if I had, they would have not helped my parents case to stop me transitioning. Lol.

Would it be too thread-derailing of me to say that all I can envision in response to this thread is Rocky Horror?

No it wouldn't, I pictured this thread getting there, but not as quickly.

Well, I'm a feminist who owns and wears heels and the occasional corset. I don't wear either for male approval or attention. For me it's part of my gender expression, also I love challenging people's ideas about women who "dress like that." I'm frequently the target of casual sexual harassment because of the way I dress, and I consider it my duty to call people out on it.

I do love the feel of a good corset, steel boned and custom made. Can't say I really wear them as outer garments though, they're just undergarments that feel like I'm getting a great big bear hug.

My parents do not approve so my corsets have been hung up waiting for their chance to shine upon moving out, which I'm quite excited about. I rather enjoy waist training, inch by inch, day by day ... I get a real thrill from the feeling of encasement.

I love corsets! How they look and how they feel when they're done up tight. I've got 4 so far, but I want more, it's almost a bit worrying when I look at my eBay wishlist and see all the ones I'd like to get. Most of the ones I've already got are black with lots of zips and buckles (I like the punk/goth look). A friend told me it was surprising how much the ones I've got suited me, but I tried on another that a friend was clearing out and thought I might like but it didn't look right on me at all.

I've not tried waist training yet, but I'd really like to.
