Can you recommend me a camera that a.) is small b.) takes clear pictures and c.) has a good battery life? I'm sick of stealing my mom's huge thing every time I want to take a shot.

    thanks  (*hug*)

I have a little Sony one. It was like $120 or so. I got the rechargeable rather than the standard battery one, and haven't had any issues at all with it yet.

I have a Canon Powershot SD750 and it's the best camera ever :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: . This thing is just amazing! So easy to use and has so many options. Even has a good movie quality (with sound, of course). I love my camera!

I've got a Canon PowerShot too (it's at work and I can't remember the model number). I agree with everything Emil said, it is excellent! I would definitely recommend them. Battery life is very good too. And it's small enough to put in a jacket pocket.

You should buy a camera from a company that specialises in cameras and/or other digital imaging products as they will know what they are doing with the image quality and optics etc (the stuff that really matters). The brands Panda suggested are good and I would add Kodak to the list.

As another thought . You probably don't need a camera with 10 megapixels unless you're planning on making 16"x20" prints all the time.5-7 mpixels is probably enough.

That's why my mom has her 18MP manual.... It's nice, but it's also $4000.

I have the same camera as Emil (a Canon Powershot SD750). I got it because my friend who works in an electronics department recommended it. Many of my friends have commented on how much they like it, one friend bought the same one after seeing mine, and another friend happened to already own the same one. I don't know much about cameras, but apparently it's a popular one.

I have a Kodak Easyshare Z885, small and can fit in your jeans pocket. Takes good photos and has lots of options (so you can take it at a race, swimming pool, concert) Looks sexy to boot. 5 x op zoom and 8.1 mp

    Canon SE150.

Really nice little cameras, rechargeable batteries, small enough to fit in a coat pocket. Easy to use, different settings (night, anti blur, macro, super macro, self portrait, timer, etc.)

    Realllllly nice.
