When did you know?

There may have been a thread out there about this, but I want to know when did you guys know that you're part of LGBT? I've known since I was 12.

 

I known since fourth grade. I was like 9 or 10.

 

I accepted it right after I turned 16 but in retrospect its obvious.

 

Well I knew I was different from the age of 5. But I never really figured it out till last year when I was 19.

 

I didn't seriously consider that I was attracted to women until I was 19, and I didn't start questioning my gender until I was 20. I always felt like I was different from other girls, but I think that had more to do with me being a nerd than being queer.

 

At 11-12 I started showing same-sex attraction, but didn't pay much heed to it and wasn't really aware that the words Heterosexual and Homosexual even existed.

At 16 I sort of had the idea that I was gay, but didn't want to admit it. (This is what I voted for in the poll).

Admitted I was gay at 22.

 

I guess I always knew I didn't like guys the same way my friends did but I didn't notice until I was 13 or 14.:/

 

Suspicions when I was twelve, but I knew I was legitimately LGBTQ in ninth grade, around fourteen.

 

Since right after I turned 14. Nearly two years ago now. Aged 12 I didn't know what "gay" meant beyond "bad fashion sense".

 

I knew that I was not straight when I was 13-14. I buried those thoughts though. So, I did not start coming out until I was almost done with ,y senior year in high school.

 

Was 21 when I figured out I was gay and started coming out.

I've known I wasn't "straight" for a long time, don't really know when I realized it. Didn't realize I was gay until last year, at age 21. Assumed asexual previously.

 

Since I was about 13:s

 

Confused throughout middle school but by 13 I was pretty sure

 

On October 22, 1999 at 5:34pm, I realized I was trans.

I don't know, I can't pinpoint something like that. Figured I was transgender around the age of 11 but suppressed all thoughts related to the matter until a few months ago. Before I realized I was actually trans, I knew I was a lesbian (from a cisfemale pov) when I was maybe 13 or 14.

 

Once expressed a liking for guys when I was 11 or so...was made fun of, so never, ever repeated that again...accepted I am gay as of February 12th of this year...

 

I'm going to be an outlier here.
All my friends in school would talk about how gross girls were and stuff. I never thought they were "gross," but I agreed that I couldn't see sex with a girl.
Then they all started liking girls and I was like "You betrayed me!"
So I can't say I knew I was different or anything.

Anyway, I put late teen because I'm not totally sure but I'm getting more concrete as time goes on and I think I'll have it next year if not sooner.

This is a surprisingly hard question to answer. I can not pinpoint a single moment when I all of a sudden knew I was gay. It's kind of always been in the background, and I've slowly become more aware of it until I just couldn't ignore it any longer. That point came about a year ago, but I've known far longer than that, even if I couldn't acknowledge it. Denial is a funny thing.

 

I knew I was a guy at about 3. I knew I was bi at 12. I came out as bi at 12. I came out as a guy at both 8 and 15. The first one didn't stick, unfortunately.
