Just been back to England to visit family and friends... I've been on the train/airplane a lot and I keep on noticing a lot of good-looking guys and just can't control myself - which leads on to me starring at them (I know it's creepy and forgive me please). This comes to those awkward moments when you turn away the exact same second they look at you (probably a reflex) or those moments when they hold their girlfriend's hand on purpose in front of you but I still can't keep my eyes off him. I just wanna know if any of you've ever experienced that? Or any advice on what I should do? Thanks!
I have, like all the time. I just try to think about NOT doing it, and focus on something else entirely.
I've stared at girls on many occasions, but I do try to hold myself back and keep it subtle. I have a lovely girlfriend now, so my admiration of strangers is lesser than it was a few years back.

I stare, I can't help it! Oh well, I believe I'm just hyper-sensitive to guys now since I've accepted my sexual orientation. Not too much harm, just stare quickly and hope they don't see you
Have you tried earphones? When people listen to music, they generally tend to stare more anyway, because they aren't concentrating on their eyes so much. People don't get so annoyed if they think you're just unfocusing.
I can't help doing it, if I see a cute Guy, I just have to check him out, now that the sun is finally showing it;s face in the UK, I will soon be able to wear my cool mirrored sun glasses & check out all the cute Guys on the bus, without getting busted :badgrin:
When I find myself staring at someone, I look down at my hands and tap my fingers on my knees in a slow pattern. It keeps me distracted
I stare at cute guys on the bus, in stores, hell wherever I find myself in public. I look at their eyes and try to see where they're looking, I've perfected the art of looking without being seen...I think!
If my straight friends have taught me anything about observing is.....USE REFLECTIONS!! lol I just started a new job and I am learning two things, 1. my job and 2. the art of perversion. LOL
I know how you feel. I tend to stare at my crush everyday. if i'm outta town, I stare at good looking guys. hahahahahaha!!!
I tend to do that a lot when I travel because I don't see a lot of nice looking guy in the town I live in haha
I do it heaps and half the time I'm not even aware I'm staring until one of my friends say "George! Are you checking her out?!" Awkward
If your sitting on a Train or a Bus & a cute Guy is sitting on the other side, you can look at his reflection in the window, that way you can look at him, without looking at him directly
