Just curious. I usually do because I don't want my sleep to be interrupted, but I'm wondering if others do.

I've literally slept through explosions so no. Once I'm out, I'm usually out for the entire night.

I don't turn it off. There aren't many people who call me, most text, so if they call, its likely to be important.

I use mine as an alarmclock, so no.

I don't turn mine off. It's usually on vibrate and no one really calls me as it is, plus I don't have text messaging. I'm also a pretty heavy sleeper, so I don't think I'd be able to hear the phone vibrate.

I don't have any friends, so it never rings. I also sleep on my couch as I don't have a bed, and I use my mobile phone as an alarm clock which beeps at 4 am everyday.

I never turn it off, but sometimes I put it onto vibrate/silent if I need to catch up on sleep.

Nope. I use mine as an alarm clock too. And no one really bothers me anyway. The only calls I ever get are from work sometimes when they need someone to come in early. So that's another reason to keep it on.

I voted that I turn it off. Technically, it's actually on, but silenced. It's silenced most of the time, unless I am expecting a call. I don't receive many calls (most of my contact with the outside world is via e-mail or message service of some sort), so leaving the phone on, and checking for missed calls/messages is enough to catch most routine matters.

  12. Nothing can interrupt my sleep, so I'm pretty safe there.

I have to leave mine on. I work in a 24x7 IT shop, and even if I am not on call I can still get called if my help is needed.

No one rings me and I use it as an alarm clock, so I do not turn it off. If someone were to ring me I'd ignore it anyway, I don't answer calls to my mobile and I struggle with answering the landline so people have pretty much given up trying to contact me in that fashion :icon_redf.

No, I don't, because I also use it as my alarmclock. Besides that I always (always) have my phone on silent mode so it doesn't bother me.

I don't turn my cell phone off at night but I turn it to silent so in the morning I can see if I have missed calls and texts.

I don't turn off my phone when I go to sleep. It is also my alarm clock so that would cause problems.

I don't turn my phone on silent either. I have an android and there is an app that only allows certain people to call you and all other calls are silenced. That way I can be reached in case someone really needs me but people I don't know well can't wake me up

I always have mine on silent because a former classmate has a habit of calling/texting me in the middle of the night. So if someone wants to talk to me, I'll call them back later. It used to annoy my mother and the rest of my family but they've got used to it by now.
I don't like being constantly available.
