Not sure what to say, except that it's a real shame that people are so idiotic and feel that they have the right to talk to people in that way. I'm just glad he wasn't violent at all.

People who are that bigoted are usually real insecure with something about themselves. I take comfort knowing that they probably have some deep-seeded problem that is secretly eating away at them from the inside.

I don't really like this argument tbh, it sounds like something thought up by straight people to lay the blame on homophobia on queer people rather than straights themselves.

I've never understood why it is that people just randomly tell you about their prejudices. Are they expecting you to agree, or congratulate them on being right or something? Never got that one.
