Accents

    Last night I was hit on (by a girl, unfortunately) because of my Irish accent. She kept telling everyone to be quiet, she just wanted to listen to my voice, which was a bit weird. I personally don't like the Irish accent, I really liked her accent though (kind of posh British).

    My favourites are the Aussie accent, most of the British accents (except Brummie and Scouse) and I quite like the German accent too.

    What do you think is the sexiest accent?

    Actually i'm quite fond of the Irish accent. I also like Southern(Texan), the South African accent, the Russian accent, the Aussie accent and I enjoy most British accents because their t.v shows/movies I enjoy. When I can find them untampered anyways. :dry:

    But my guilty pleasure would have to be the French accent.

    The French accent is really popular with people, but it just doesn't do it for me. A lot of my friends are French and I live with a French guy and I really don't see the appeal. It's a little sexy on girls, but on guys I'm not crazy about it.

    My favorite accent are British, Aussie, Eastern European (mostly Russian) and certain Latin American accents. Irish is generally good but a bit more hot or miss for me.

    Honestly, it's not the sexiest accent to me. The sexiest accent to me is the Irish accent but there's something about it that just draws me in. It's like kryptonite. I remember once I was flipping through movies on the television and I came across this french movie that held both native french speakers and those with accents and I was like "I'm not watching this." An hour and some time later, I was saying "Hmmm, i'm not sure what just happened but I think I enjoyed this." :lol:

    Irish, Scottish, Welsh and most of the regional English accents.

    Yup, I'm a sucker for that sort of region. Lucky I live here, haha.

    Although ironically, the part of England I live in has fairly boring 'estuary English' accents. So when I hear anything that I can't trace to a location within 50 miles, I go ape shit haha.

    Some of the Irish accents are really horrible. Thankfully in the part where I'm from it's really subtle and almost kind of American sounding.

    It's really sexy when they speak French. But when they speak English, or here when they speak Spanish, it just sounds weird and not sexy at all.

    Southern Irish Accents, especially the Dublin accent :slight_smile: but then again I am biased Lol
    The Southern American Accent, Mississippi, Georgia Etc & Australian :slight_smile:

    Oh nearly forgot, I love the Geordie Accent on a Hot Guy :kiss:

    It's kind of weird too how some accents are sexy on guys and not on girls and vice versa. I think I could almost turn straight for a girl with a Northern Irish or Scottish accent, but on a guy it's much less sexy, same with French and Spanish. On the other side, Irish accents are not at all sexy on women and neither are German or Eastern European accents, but they're kind of hot on guys.

    Men from North Carolina = adorable accent. (Don't know if it has a more specific name - "Raleigh accent," maybe?) My favorite thus far.
