Just thought I'd share this...

  1. My friends were talking about the recent Gay Marriage (or as I like to call it, marriage) victory in France. They were talking for about ten minutes when out of the blue one of them says "why do gay couples get so fussed about this? Can't one of them just get, I don't know, gender surgery so they can have a normal marriage?"

My jaw hit the table. So I spent the next half hour trying to explain to her the differences between Gay people and transsexual people.
Soon it developed, and we all got talking about asexual people and the Kinsey scale, homosexuality throughout history, faggot insults and basically all things queer.

By the time we done talking I felt like I had been run I've by a truck, but it was worth it. I just wanted to say that, because it was honestly one of the best conversations we've ever had. I feel like I know them better and that we're better friends because of it. (!)
