So as I'm sitting here watching "Guilt Trip" with my mother I just have all these flashbacks of her silliness over the years. With Mother's Day arriving soon, I felt it'd be fun to have a thread that's not just what should I get her, what are you doing, yadda yadda. I want to hear your funny stories about your mother. My mother does and says some hilarious things and it's part of why I love her so much. I'll start. When I still lived at home, my mother and I watched movies together all the time. We watched "Pride and Prejudice" (which she loved) and "The Jane Austen Book Club" (which she kind of liked) but the kicker was when I brought home "Becoming Jane". At the very end, where it starts to say things like Jane Austen went on to write blah blah blah, my mother exclaims "Oh this is about real people?!" I was like WTF?! LOL!! :lol:
