What's your favorite movie or serie with gay/lesbian couples in it?

I've posted the movies I saw in the sticky thread somewhere in the Entertainment and Media. As for series, Skins (the first generation) would probably be my favorite. I've also seen QAF (UK and US), Six Feet Under, an Australian show with a gay character named Richie and some other shows the names of I can't remember now. I've recently finished watching USoT. Enjoyed it very much.

 

Six Feet Under is incredible, especially since it portrays gay relationships as real relationships instead of the cartoonized ones often portrayed in other media.

 

The latter part of the soap opera "As the World Turns" had Dr. Reid Oliver and Luke Snyder in a relationship, which I enjoyed very much. I hate the show got pulled and that they killed off Dr. Oliver... I'm still fuming over that, and it's been 3 years... >__>

 

The Outs. It's a web-series and I love it's music, cinematography, but most importantly it's very harsh portrayal of the darker, grittier side of gay relationships and the gay community. A refreshing change from the often two-dimensional gay couples one sees on Prime-time TV.

On the other hand, i'm a really big sucker for sappy gay themed movies. A Single Man and Northsea Texas are some of my favourites.

 

Desert Hearts and Room in Rome for the ladies. Brokeback Mt. for the guys. I also enjoyed Queer as Folk and The L Word.

 

Movies:
Imagine Me and You, I love this movie, yes!
Lost and Delirious is plain brilliant it's heartbreaking. Beautiful movie.
Show Me Love (originally titled Fucking Amal) - The movie is so cute with two cute girls in it.

Tv Series:
Once and Again - The relationship between Katie and Jessie is sooo cute. <3

 

My definite favorite overall is Agron and Nasir from Spartacus. Nagron forever!

A few others were The Lesbian couple from Queer As Folk, Sailor Neptune and Sailor Uranus from Sailor Moon, Keith and David from Six Feet Under, Marco and Dylan from Degrassi, Willow and Tara from Buffy, Mickey and Ian from Shameless(US) and Alex and Trey from Noah's ARC.

I need more LGBT Movies to watch especially ones with more LGBT People of Color. Anyone know of any?

 

I really liked the American QAF and Will and Grace. I wish there was a recent sitcom with gay couples that is well done and long running. I guess Modern Family is, but I rarely ever watch it.

Favorite movies include Eating out, A Single Man, Shelter and Brokeback Mountain. I liked others but aren't coming to mind without reviewing my Netflix history. There should be more movies with gay couples!

 

Movie, The Kids are alright
TV series, Brothers & Sisters, loved that series, only started watching it in series 5 and have brought the 5 season box set and watching it from the start.

 

It's so cliche but yes I love Chasing Amy

As for movies, I like Shelter, Yossi and Jagger, and Love of Siam.

 

Willow and Tara from Buffy will be my favorite Lesbian couple forever.

i quite like glee... although some people think its just a dumb musical its actually not, there is a lesbian couple at one point -Santana ad Brittany, a gay couple - Blain and Kurt, and a transvestite which shows that everyone can be accepted no matter who they are
