This is one of the reasons I love living in the South. Some of my friends ask, "How could you like it, here, with all the hatred and intolerance?" And I point to things like this. Where there's a person who's willing to actively discriminate, there's another who will stand up against it. The "red states" get a bad reputation for these sorts of things, but daily life isn't as bad as everyone makes it out to be.

 

I hadn't heard of this show but once before and that doesn't matter. This video had me tearing up and I almost never cry...I think I just might now...They have more decency then most people I know. STOP THE SILENCE

 

They are in a red state, in a rural area, it's like they are setting up for failure. Pleasantly surprised. Gay's can be refused service in 29 states? I'd get myself arrested leaving a place that refused me service due to being gay, I wouldn't know how to act, most definitely would blow my top.
