Whether it be Dublin, Cork or tipperary, what does the Irish Brogue do for you?

  2. I've never heard an Irish accent that I didn't think was cute. It's almost as good as the Scottish accent... almost.

I like it. My maternal family come from Kerry County, and their accent is nice. I think Southern Irish accents are very sexy, if spoken well.

    An Irish accent?
Like Merry's from Lord of the Ring?
    Kind of fun.

Scottish accents are usually nice, but I know a Scot who's accent is like sandpaper and cheese graters against the ears, and even worse, he doesn't shut up.

Hm...could you provide an example of a Southern Irish accent? (Celebrity or something with an accent so I can look it up).

I like Irish accents in general, I probably couldn't tell the difference between counties...spent some time in southwest Ireland: Killarney, Dingle, but didn't make it much farther south to Cork or Waterford. Loved every minute I was there!

I see. I quite like his voice. It's a nice accent, not too hard to understand the words either.

It's a really nice, sing-songy accent, beautiful on both males and females. The fact that it exists makes me proud of my Irish ancestry (not that I speak with an Irish accent - I just sound like a posh Northerner).

I don't know if it's a southern Irish accent though.

Just a tad annoying if spoken wrong, but if done right, ummm, odd.

I met a girl from Cork once on a night out. She was nice, couldn't bloody understand her, though.

You have the same accent as my parents neighbors who immagrated from over there, I am not sure but I think near Dubland. None of them are blond like you. Does that make a diffrence between North and South? Accents are vastly diffrent here in the states between the North and South. I love the deep South accent here in the states on a southern gentleman I think it is so sexy, and do think your Irish accent is sexy too. June

p.s. If you ever get to Tampa,Fl again. Just off of Davis Islands where I grew up, on the mainland is a Irish restraunt pub called Four Green Fields and they have Live Irish bands Friday and Sat night. I used to go all the time and enjoy the Irish folk music the best. June
