I noticed some others recommending restarting the poll from the other thread, since it excluded a number of people. So whats your sexual orientation?

    Bi and Pan
I picked fluid though because I sometimes go through periods of only being attracted to women

Gay. Almost voted Hetero because my eyes went to "H" expecting Homo.

Well, if you're worried about excluding people, you'll have to be a lot more thorough. :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

For example, for me to answer heterosexual, bisexual, homosexual - I would have to subscribe to the notion that I have a gender. Which I would claim that I do not. Therefore, while I like men sexually, I cannot say I am any particular "sexual" label so given, since doing so would require my having a dichotomous gender. Meanwhile I can't pick "fluid" since I don't particularly feel fluid, and feel I lean toward men.

But not strictly so. I do sometimes have feelings toward women. Just not enough so to call myself fluid, which implies that one's likings can span the entirety of attraction to either sex and/or gender within a given period of time. So what shall I call myself? "Other"? That option feels rather precluding and dismissive, does it not? To fully incorporate me, or the many others like me who do not perfectly fit simplistic labels, you'd need options like "genderless androsexual with occasional feelings toward the female gender and/or sex."

Long story and rant short - I am me, you are you, and so on, and that really ought to be the end of it. Sexuality is too complicated to use labels like this. F*** 'em .

    /end sleep-deprived rant

I disagree with the word homosexual for personal reasons. I much prefer to say "I am gay."

I picked Homosexual, but then there's the biromanticism that kicks in...
I have to agree as well - I'd easily pick saying "I'm gay" than "I am a homosexual."

But you can't tell the percentages without a lot of effort.

Why use nasty clinical names like "homosexual" instead of "gay"?
