Have you come out yet?

I did, and it was pretty horrible. No regrets though.

 

I haven't come out yet. Unless you count EC..then that is who I am out to. I'm 14

 

I've come out to 2 people, and only when it was related to the conversation. One of them doesn't believe me, and the other is very supportive (albeit making homophobic jokes all the time - I flirt with him as revenge). I don't think I have the strength or confidence to say it out of the blue, so I'm sticking to whenever it was relative - for instance, when one of the people who I've come out to was interrogating me on who I liked and was listing off girls.

Oh, and I'm 13.

I am only out to my friends. I think my mom knows, but we hate conflicts, so... she doesn't ask me, but we are cool, and she is really nice about all the gay stuff and all haha. She is pretty cool, whenever comes the time I'll come out to her and no regretsssss, I love her so much.

I'm out to four people from my everyday life, and this was years ago, and I haven't talked to them in about as long, so I'm sure it has left their mind by now.
Online, other than here, I'm out to maybe six or seven people.

to my closest friends, some people at my university, my brother, and my mom. It's turned out rather well, with some exceptions here and there.

 

I came out to my parents in January. A few of my close friends know, but it isn't common knowledge.

 

I'm out to my parents, and now just "out" in general. Basically I'm just not hiding it, so if anyone ask I'll say I'm gay.

Got no friends to be "Out" to so...that saved me from the trouble of having to come out to them.

 

I'm 18, and I'm out to everybody except my parents and everybody on my dad's side of the family. I'm out to most people on my mom's side, except my grandma, a few aunts and uncles, and my mom.

Second, nope, not out. This closet is my personal hermitage. Honestly, I'm not sure if it's worth it for me since my family is extremely closed-minded. I mean, I'm not gay, but I don't want to be recognized as a woman, which is going to cause a lot of obstacles.

I've told my husband, and he's fine with it, but should I decide to change my body, I'm afraid that things would change between us. It's extremely scary, and I almost wish I just hadn't said anything. I just feel like I'm unnecessarily complicating things, but he says it's good that I talk about this with him.

I'm 24 and sick and tired of hiding but really scared. :icon_sad:

 

Everyone but my family. I plan to tell my parents when I get in college and tell the rest of my family afterwards.

 

Mum and dad know I'm trans and that I like the feminine/female spectrum of people. Same as with my best friend, my girlfriend, a couple more people, my coworkers and boss, and that's about it. Hopefully I pass enough that nobody in public assumes I'm transgender, but they just think I'm a masculine female, sigh.

 

I've been in the process. And frankly, no one important to me has really cared. It's getting easier to come out to people, but I still get nervous. Even if its people I know will be perfectly OK with it, it's just that fear of the unknown. I also sometimes feel exhausted thinking that I'm probably going to have to come out over and over again throughout my life. I sometimes wish all people could just instinctively know.

I'm out to literally everyone as a lesbian, out to two people as a trans* guy. Hoping to come out to my LGBT group, maybe this week if I can work up the nerve.
