Would you say the Digit Ratio Theory is correct (At least in your case)

    There has been some things regarding the Digit Ratio Theory; for those who don't know and question what does it have to do with LGBT, it is a theory that determines a persons sexuality by looking at their fingers.

    A typical Straight Man: Bigger ring finger, smaller pointer finger.

    A typical Gay Man: Bigger pointer finger, smaller ring finger

    A typical Straight Woman: Equal sized ring finger and pointer finger

    A Typical Lesbian Woman: Bigger Ring Finger, Smaller pointer finger

    There are tons of statistics that kind of back this up and some cases may vary of course, but again, just your thoughts and opinions, and share yours, Mine is a bit abnormal; my left hand (dominant) is similar to what is believed to be the typical straight man; but my right is believed to be similar to that of a typical straight woman (and I'm a man :eek: ). Anyways, opinions, thoughts?

    My index fingers are around a centimetre shorter than my ring fingers, so no. I doubt whether digit ratio is actually related, but I wouldn't rule it out.

    Yeah, what about the bi folks? :lol:

    My pointer finger is way longer than my ring finger - about 0.6inch. So I neither fit the digit ratio for a straight woman nor that for a gay one. Since I'm neither straight nor gay, that seems about right :lol:

    Strangely this does apply to me. Not sure about the link between finger size and sexuality though.

    Guess it could be due to development in the womb depending on what hormones we are exposed to? I have no clue!

    Interesting theory, in my case right (dominant) hand says str8 male (at least got the male part right) left hand says str8 female. As Lex said "works unless it doesn't" :wink:.

    The digit ratio hypothesis is mostly out of favor I think. Blanchard is the only one who seems to have faith in it, and Blanchard has terrible ideas about the way sexuality and gender identity work, from what I've seen. Not a fan.

    My index finger is slightly longer than my ring finger so yes, anecdotally I do fit this hypothesis.

    I've heard alot of different things about Bi sexuals, some say they retain the gay fingers and some say they retain opposite sex fingers, it's really hard to tell for sure really, like I said it is not THAT accurate meaning it is not 100% definite.
