Default A Question For The Women

Why is it that women can wear skirts with their legs bare in these cold 40 F / 9 c days. I'm wearing a jacket and jeans and feel just comfortable.
Are the females of the species that much tougher and hardier than males.
It's something I've wondered about for ages.??

I don't like being cold; I'll wear a jacket until the temperature gets to around 15 C... and I personally don't wear skirts, but I will wear small, summer-ish tops/shorts/capri pants in that sort of weather. And yes, it's quite cold at times, but you sort of try to not think about it... eventually you get used to it and warm up a little. I do, anyways. Although I'd much rather have a nice warm jacket and some jeans on. XD

*shrugs* I dunno what it's like in Canada. Here it's just about warm enough that everyone is starting to wear shorter clothes.

My husband actually complained to our marriage counselor that I don't wear dresses.

I don't wear skirts, but I'll wear shorts on a cool day. I like the breeze on my legs, especially after a batch of Ohio-brand zero degree days.

Plus, I've always had a high resistance to cold temperatures.

I wouldn't hesitate to wear a t-shirt or shorts in that weather.

Kind of a funny story... A few months ago my mom wanted me to drive her into work. I had just woken up and wasn't really ready to go anywhere so I just hopped into the car in my boxer shorts and a jacket and drove her in. It was -30 outside! I didn't really let the car warm up either. Not long enough to get warm inside at least. They neighbours saw me coming home and thought I was crazy.

I don't really feel the cold unless it's below freezing point. I used to wear shorts and T-shirt for school sport in the middle of winter and be fine.

I'm always cold. I only wear dresses and skirts on REALLY hot days (30+/78 +)
Otherwise it's jeans/leggins/tights/long johns/knee high socks and full thermal underwear.

It's cold where I live. We get the cold winds straight up from Antarctica.
Even though I have to wear a skirt for winter, I made it as long as possible and I wear thick tights with socks underneath and leggings over the top.

I HATE BEING COLD!!!

This is one I don't understand myself...I'm not one for skirts...but i have to wear them for one of my jobs. I say...that the girls who do wear short skirts on days when its cold have thicker skin OR lower body temp OR...are very intent on looking good.

You definently won't catch me in a skirt but I've been wearing shorts in 50 degree weather. Any lower than this I'm in jeans! Just for the record, these are knee length shorts if that makes any difference at all.

Because nothing says sexy like fresh stubble caused by the cold? (And they ask you to rub their legs to warm them up... psh... you end up losing a couple of layers of skin!)

Maybe it's because those girls are "Hot?"
