    Hey,

Some few months ago, one of my brother's friend met me in the shopping center.

Then, blah,blahblah... we talked, and he asked, "Have you got yourself a girl yet?"

I wish to say, "Ooh, I'm into BOTH guys and girls. HA ha ha!"

Too bad I didn't said that. :roflmao:

When they say, "Do you have a girlfriend?", just come back with, "No, not on me".

Ugh! My parents are constantly talking about all these girls that I would like and asking if I think girls are hot! They even tried to set me up with a girlfriend one time! It's the absolute worst part of being gay right now!!!

"Nope, and not likely to have one anytime in the future, I've sworn off dating"

Works for me (but it works because it's true).

Well I'm out... So if I say I don't have a girlfriend I just tell 'em the truth (unless the situation would be dengerous)

My grandmother's the worst. I just wish she didn't sound so damned disappointed whenever I say no. I always tell myself "I'll tell her next time she asks" but I can never bring myself to do it. :frowning2:

I ALWAYS get this question. But I did used to have a boyfriend for several years, so it's fair enough, I think. It's not like I'm expecting people to read my mind!

Next time my mum asks, I may say "It's complicated..." and see where the conversation goes...

I don't get it quite so often any more, maybe they've started to catch on...

I just act honest about it, give them the simple "No", and move on. Very rarely does someone continue to bother me about it, most people just change the subject.

    That's classic! :roflmao:

You know... I've been separated from my wife for a year now, and NOBODY has asked me if I've been out dating again. You'd think that some of the people that don't know I'm gay would have asked by now! Maybe EVERYBODY KNOWS!

I guess that will make 'coming out' easier - if everyone has already guess it! :icon_wink

oooo it is really annoying when your not out!! I usually just try to get out of the conversation because I can't quite bring myself to lie and always feel really uncomfortable.... oh well... just waiting for the day I pluck up enough courage to say ... there's no such thing as Mr Right ... but she is very hot!

I hate it. I wish I could tell them it's none of their business in a nice way.

(*hug*) You know she might just surprise you....Mine sure surprised the hell out of me! It was actually the last day I ever spent with her (she died this past december) But we were sitting in her dining room kitchenett thingy and she asked if I was going to watch the victoria secret fashion show...you know girls in underwear...I most likely blushed but I said no...and before that she had asked the gender of the person I like...I lied then too...But the thing is if I had told her I think she would have still loved me. But then again...I was the only grand kid/person who she ever saw so...that could have played in also.

Ok so thats not helping. What I mean to say is that she might just surprise you and you never know. I've heard that with age people become more accepting. Good luck!
