    I feel like there's been multiple threads like this one before, but I sort of want to see if anyone has a weirder one than me. xD

    So I had this crush during my teen years that I sort of forgot about until now. I was watching an episode of Yes, Dear where they had The Wiggles as special guests or something. So I was just watching it and than I saw him, and I was like "OMG!!!! Captain Feathersword!!!!!" Yes, I had a crush on Captain Feathersword. :roflmao: You'll probably asking how did a teenager have a crush on a character from a children's show? Well it's actually pretty simple. My nephews who were around 3 or 4 at the time were really into The Wiggles. I had to babysit them a lot, so I was forced to watched them.:dry: I think I liked him so much because of his goofiness, his charm, and his pirate voice. lol

    I ended up googling him and his real name is Paul Paddick(tehehe) and I think he's extremely sexy even without the pirate get up:

    I can't stop laughing at this, but it does look like my crush is revived at least! <3 So has anyone ever had a weird crush like this one?

    This thread just made my day. xD

    My cousin and I used to watch her baby brother, and he was obsessed with the Wiggles as well. Therefore, we all picked out our favorite Wiggle and fangirled forever "to make the time go by faster" hahaha! I'm pretty sure my favorite was Jeff :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: Captain Feathersword was up there though, he was fantastic! xD I still remember a scary amount of their songs and felt super dumb about the whole thing until right now.

    I feel much better about singing about fruit salads and hot potatoes and life in general. xD

    In the context of what I know about my attractions now, none of my childhood crushes were all that weird, in that none of them were out of character for me. But in terms of comparing them to the people/characters whom most people crush on? Yeah, they were pretty odd. :slight_smile: The oddest would probably be Wario.

    I used to have an obsession with Helena Bonham Carter as well. Now it's Sue Perkins and Heather Peace that I have a crush on.
    It might sound weird but I think Daniel Radcliffe, Graham Norton and Alan Carr are adorable..:rolle:
