I've always wondered what people's opinions are on this.

When would you consider someone too skinny to wear a T-shirt?

    Pretty much my thoughts exactly.

I'm too skinny to wear some t-shirts. I just go a size lower than recommended, and it's usually good.

..... no such thing, as far as I'm concerned.

You could fit a t-shirt to a schnauzer if you wanted to.

The clothes in my possession consist of t-shirts, hoodies and jeans. I don't think someone can wear jeans on their torso, so that leaves hoodies and t-shirts. People usually wear something under a hoodie... so you see my confusion here.

  7. I just figure that anyone can wear whatever the hell they want. Fat, skinny, short, tall. Provided you aren't breaking any laws, appropriating cultural clothing that you dont understand or expecting service at a place that requires a certain dress code, then anything goes.

Me. I always wear jumpers because I hate how skinny I am.

Any laws surrounding clothing deserve to be broken.

Hehe, been years since I've worn hoodies. I only wear t-shirts and jeans. A jacket during the winter if it's too cold, but that's it.

I guess I could always go topless in public, but I'm a bit shy.

I would say put them in the dryer to shrink them. Ohterwise, I wouldn't suggest muscle shirts/sleeveless, etc. I always wear an undershirt to make myself look bigger.

Tip: wearing horizontal strips makes you look fatter. Vertical stripes make you look taller

You can wear whatever you want....granted, don't be surprised if someone (hopefully a friend) would tell you that you look bad.

I've never really thought of "too skinny"... But if it shows off bones or stuff, then it's not attractive.
I'm not really heavy, but I've always had a little stomach pouch, so I refused to wear certain tshirts because I felt like I was expecting twins.

I'm all for freedom of expression. However, you need to realize that if you're, say, size ____, you might need to stick to that size so Your ass crack isn't sticking out.

I dated a guy in college that was 6 feet tall and 116 lbs. He had to wear large t-shirts so they'd be long enough in a smaller size, but they were so baggy that he looked like he was swimming in them. I think he was too skinny, but perhaps he just needed longer, more fitted shirts.

    Um, never?

I'm not sure I understand the question, why would you ever be too skinny to wear a t-shirt?

I'm pretty skinny, I wear XS size t-shirts, but I never saw a reason to not wear t-shirts?

If you are bothered by it, maybe you're subconsciously trying to tell yourself to get bulkier :icon_wink Seriously though, people should be able to feel comfortable with anything they wear.
