Oh, that's really nice and an interesting comparison. It does represent me relatively well with regards to my trust issues.

    I like rain though... :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes:

I like the metaphor that's used there....and I for one only like rain when I'm not IN it :stuck_out_tongue_closed_eyes: haha

This is pretty accurate. Even more, it's sometimes about worrying about the rain when it's 80 and sunny out.

    Thanks for posting this!

True, so very true. Something I would add is when people seem to be only interested in you when your all anxious and quiet, but as you start to talk more they just ignore you and don't care causing you to revert back to being quiet, doubting your social capability even more. Endless cycle that makes it hard to get anywhere.

Also the Hyperbole and a Half mention was cool.

True. I suffer from pretty extreme social anxiety and I hate it when people think it's just a phase or that I need to come out of my shell and "force" myself to socialize.

Yeah, this is so true. I can't believe that people don't get anxiety and depression, and these are a pretty good way of presenting it.

I'm anxious about so much, I don't even know where to start.
Work gets me down the most because everyone else seems to work there in between partying or clubbing, and always have things to talk about; mostly which girls they're into.
I don't want to be the odd one out, but I can't socialize with them on their level, and my rent is more than I earn, so no spare money for going out. Life can suck sometimes.
