Has anyone listend to the song Born This Way by Lady Gaga? After the fifth time hearing it, i finally found out there was a LGBT message in it
Oh my. That was the first thing that many noticed about the song, actually, including myself. It's a nice message, for sure, though.
Love the song, have it on my favorites list. I like Gaga a little, for that matter. Not my favorite artist by any means, but still good.
I'm not so sure I think that "born this way" is an awesome message. How about just, "being queer is cool"?
The message that being gay is normal is fine. But that song just gets on my nerves; it's not my cup of tea.
Good point. Catchy song but I think when it comes to the whole "born this way" message, think it seems more like "I'm so sorry I'm queer but I can't help it!" And not specifically talking about the song but the whole wording of the argument.
Well, the song is. Not my favorite Gaga song but it's catchy. It's just the overall message but that's more of a nitpick than anything.
I'm not into pop music at all, but I'm glad there are pop artists out there like Gaga informing the ignorant masses who worship pop music that being gay is OK (not saying all who listen to pop are ignorant, mind you, but we certainly do have an abundance of ignorant people in the United States).
I can be pretty slow when it comes to song lyrics there was a song called White Lines & I thought it was about Sex :eusa_doh: turns out it was about taking Cocaine  how naive was I, also I have heard Tom Jones song The Green Green Grass Of Home, for years & I never knew it was about a Man, sitting in his Prison Cell, waiting to be executed, looking back on his life :eusa_doh: as I said "I understand not understanding" :roflmao:
I can relate. I listen to some really obscure music of various genre's. Look up the lyrics to Green And Grey by Nickel Creek and tell me what the heck it means if you can figure it out, because I've never been able to  Somehow, I just don't think it's about playing darts but I still don't know what exactly. This has bothered me for almost a decade and I haven't even heard the song in a few years now
No matter gay, straight or bi Lesbian, transgendered life I'm on the right track, baby I was born to survive Yeah!
" No matter Gay, Straight or Bi, Lesbian, Transgendered Life, ime on the right track baby, i was born to survive" Catchy and lovin' the message
