    Having watched QI so much, that last paragraph is gut-wrenching, and I'm not often affected by stories like this. :frowning2: You only seem to see him as an incredibly cheerful man...
    Obviously, it's well-known that he suffers from bipolar disorder, but it's eerie all the same.

    And having a close-ish friend who's opened up about this to another of my friends about something like this (I can only assume - I don't know the details), it's all a little close to home, too.

    I've been familiar with Fry's being bipolar, though I hadn't read or heard him talk about it at length, even like this, before and being quite familiar with his comic persona(s) also, I agree that it's still very jarring to think about.

    There's a movie about him struggling with Bipolar disorder. Worth watching.
