I only want to ask a girl to hang out with me sometime to get to know her better as a friend first and see if it goes anywhere. The problem is I like her and get really awkward around her and I've tried 2x to give her my phone # but I always chicken out. Any advice?
Advice? Mine would be to take your own and approach her as you would a casual friend. In order to do anything together, friends need to communicate, which means exchanging numbers. I promise she won't think it's weird. Unfortunately, if you intend to come out to her, you're not at the hard part yet, but it will be good practice for getting over other social anxieties that are bound to come your way. Good luck.
