Hey (!) Does your area that you live in have a gay bar/club that does nights dedicated to lesbians only?
nope at least not that i know of. theres a teen night at a local night club and i went there once and it was horrible and awkward and this guy kept hitting on me and i just sat there like umm :eusa_hand
Not that's I've been able to find, but there are 5 or 6 gay bars in my town so surely one of them has a ladies night.
This might be false, but I've noticed a trend in the gay community to exclude lesbians, so there might not be one in your town, simply because lesbians get less focus and stuff because our society seems to be so male-centric.
There was plenty when I lived in Houston. Somehow I don't think Grand County has a whole lot of options, LOL
There used to be a lesbian bar in Glasgow but when I went down last year they said it had shut down. So never got to visit it :newcolor: ---------- Post added 13th Jun 2013 at 07:56 PM ---------- EscapeArtist..think I will need to move to Houston lol
There's a gay bar called Vaults in Exeter but its the straightest gay bar ever. I've been a few times and only ever get hit on by guys
For some reason Lesbian bars always seem to go out of business quickly, I've never understood it. Maybe we need to start opening Lesbain tea houses instead?
There's at least two lesbian bars in DC, and one of the gay bars here in Baltimore has a 'Lesbian Lounge', upstairs. (Which sounds kind of silly, as I type it, as if women must be relegated to some smaller space, upstairs) I've never been a big bar-goer, but it does seem like there are not nearly as many options for women in this department.
I've been to a few gay bars in Scotland and its mainly guys that occupy them (no offence) lol. Met some nice girls in Manchester though don't think they quite understood my Scottish accent much. Femmeme, think you may have a great idea their ....when do we open? HuskyPup...I may need to move to America. Sounds awesome!
And here I want to move to the UK, because it sounds more suited to me I imagine there might be more Lesbian bars in bigger cities, such as London? But the DC/Baltimore area is very nice in its diversity of people...tough we have horrible traffic. Have you ever heard the song by Jonathan Richman, I went dancing at the lesbian bar? It's really nice, he's such a sweetie, and has a kind of 'cult' following here. He's from Boston, kinda like a kid who never grew up.
Maybe some day on my travels I'll experience DC/Baltimore I'm actually going to be in the US in 72days ....not that I'm counting hehe. I've been to London a few times, when I was younger with family, so haven't had a night out at the bars yet. Hopefully go down some time next year. You joining me HuskyPup? No, I shall have to listen to this song now.
Ah, I'd love to see London, just a tad broke! Oh, and the song is kinda silly...be warned! But he's really charismatic, I think.
There's apparently one in my town, but Leeds would be the closest and best place as I believe there is a street dedicated to gay bars. Also, when I stayed in London, there was one just down the road.
@HuskyPup..he sure knows how to shake those hips haha. Thinking about going to London for my birthday and see what the night life's like. Pity my birthdays past..roll on January (!!)
