    The bull shark is actually the most dangerous species of shark to humans because it is aggressive and persistent, and can swim into estuaries in which the water is salted/fresh.

    The fierce great white shark typically seeks out prey with a blubbery consistency, such as seals and sea lions, and often attacks humans as a mistake, thinking they are another type of creature.

    I have read that there are no reports of orcas (killer whales) ingesting humans, though they have fatally wounded them in other ways, as was the case with the trainer who was trapped by one.

    The moral of the stories: the ocean is NOT your living room.
