guy friend who knows i'm gay yelled at me. i was wearing super baggy blue jeans, neon green shoes with black and white laces, black shirt w/ green/white writing saying "I LOVE VAGINA", a cap with rainbow lettering saying "LETS GET FUCKING WEIRD", a rainbow cloth bracelet, and bigass mirroed aviators. Got hit on by men and women at walmart like that, I think it confused some folks lol. He got all pissy because I don't fit any stereotypes. LEAVE MY FASHION ORIENTATION OUT OF THIS

I'll call the way you dress "unique" and leave it at that :roflmao:. But I do agree that LGBT folk get judged by the way they dress too much: lesbians either dress "butch" or "feminine," men dress "fashionably" or "manly," etc. why can't gay be independent of the way we dress?

I wear a pink shirt because I like the color, not because I'm gay.

    Good, keep on doing it.

I'm sorry that happened, its not nice to be yelled at. But being individual is a good thing, don't forget that.

If it's what you like then wear it. Although, the "I love vagina" shirt could be a bit much.

Heh, I would have loved to say something like "As long as it's the right kind of lunatic." You sound really cute, so don't change a thing! Except for maybe the "I love vagina" shirt. A bit graphic, don't you think?

Meh, if you don't like it, don't read the t-shirt, is what I would say.

    Hmm.

First thought - Obvious answer to his statement: Excellent! Just the look I was going for!

Second thought: If you're getting hit on a lot from this look, it's possible your friend is feeling a bit jealous. Especially if you have women hitting on you, but are gay. He may be feeling that he's 'losing out' to you when he shouldn't be.

    Just some random thoughts,

    Todd

Better to look like a lunatic than to be one, and trust me, there are plenty of normal looking lunatics.

Yeah, but its a little rude to complain about someone's appearance because you don't like it. I disapprove of censorship on principal, anyway.

Don't let other people dictate how you are and how you dress. Just be you. I've been criticized for how I dress. My attitude? f*** em.
