^Nice, I hope you enjoy it!

I just watched it today too. There were so many action scenes (especially towards the end) that they became a little overwhelming at times. Idk, sometimes I need a break from the action, haha. Overall, the movie was enjoyable.

Btw, Henry Cavill is quite a handsome guy, especially with a short beard

  4. I saw it Friday night. It was awesome.

Did you know that they are doing very specific marketing to churches? They made a special Christian trailer for pastors to use.

Felt like I was in an Asimov novel, for some reason. Was a pleasant surprise for me (had low expectations).

I wanted to see it in 3D but my friends wanted to see it in 2D, so the majority won

No. Do not insult this movie. It was too epic.

Actually, the only reasons I liked it were:
    1. Russel Crowe may be a jerk but he is hotter than the surface of the sun.
    2. Henry Cavill. That is all, I need say no more.

I didn't find Henry Cavill particularly hot without his beard. But those few scenes where he did have one blew me away. He looks incredibly handsome/hot/cute with a beard.

As a person who loves to watch movies, i personally didn't like certain aspects of the movie like underdevelopment of plot elements especially the clois romance (despite a 2hr 20 minute run time), the convoluted narrative, lack of humour and charm and lastly action scenes that seem more tedious than exciting :frowning2:

I don't mean to offend anyone, but I didn't like how the filmmakers tried to liken Superman to Jesus.

i think if you want to compare final action scene for the avengers against the final action scene in Man of Steel will know what i mean by my last sentence

The Avengers did many things right (inventive, exhillerating and you could feel the tension throughout the entire sequence and most importantly it had so much energy and enthusiam in its execution). Man of Steel is quite the opposite

There were some good aspects about the movie though. The flashback scenes on his childhood are generally well explored

The whole reason I want to see it is because of Russell Crowe! lol. Couldn't keep my eyes off him on the bus adverts.

I liked Henry Cavill during the film  , but I thought that the action scenes were dragged out just a bit. 30-45 seconds would have been good. Not five minutes. After then it would be pointless. I give it an A-

Very good movie and was easy to follow. I also though the villian character was ugly looking hahaha.

I saw Man of Steel with two other guys today. In the first part of the movie they tried to pay homage to too many different films. For example, the baby pods were out of The Matrix. The hump-backed whale scene could have been from Star Trek IV. The gel casing for transport looked like Galaxy Quest. After the main conflict took off it got exciting. Over all it was a good movie.

Russell Crowe did a fabulous job!!! He didn't over-play or under-play his role.

    I this movie sucks personally.

The characters are bland and uninteresting, the back story is a lot weaker than it should be, the plot is... boring, I'll be honest, and it feels rushed and, in the end, utterly pointless. It's nothing like Batman Begins or The Amazing Spider-Man, because this one just sucks. They throw a bunch of amazing visuals at you but, in the end, that's it.

There was no love to it. No passion. It really had to do more with the script rather than the direction or anything other than that. The acting was quite bland, in my opinion.

Superman has always been Jesus. That's what the comic book makers intended at the time.
