I've been feeling pretty down lately, so I was wondering if anyone had any ideas for a pick-me-up. I don't have a lot of money, which is sad because I just got paid yesterday, but I'd really like to do something to make myself feel better. Any ideas?
I personally like to go to a BBQ joint where I live and read a book while I sip a quart of iced tea, and it only costs $1, at least here.
This is a good one, especially if you don't get out much! It doesn't even have to be fast. A leisurely stroll while you admire the things around you can be good. If you're super sad and need something right this second, look for youtube videos of babies laughing. It never fails to make laugh until I cry. :icon_bigg
Love all these! I would take a walk, but it's extremely hot out. I burn very easily. I'll probably wait until later tonight to take a walk. I also just remembered that I love playing on the swings. And I love tea. I just bought a big jug of Arizona green tea yesterday. I used to go to restaurants all the time and get a piece of cake and a cup of coffee or something and read, but lately I haven't done a lot of that. Thanks for your suggestions, guys!
You know what is also good? Rainbows....I know, its weird...but this is what i do when i'm down....Turn on some music and dance like you would never do in public. It makes me feel better all the time. I had a good day today because my dad got sprayed with the hose....he was like "put the hose down" and So i dropped it on the ground and it sprayed him in the face. it was soooo funny. Hope you feel better (*hug*)
