    Hi all,

I'm relatively new to EC and am not out to anyone except for my school counsellor. Basically, I was looking at the events for London Gay Pride next week and it looked like sooo much fun. Anyway, I would absolutely love to go, but have no one to go with because I'm not out, so can't ask anyone. Do people generally go with other people to pride, or is it ...er... socially acceptable in the gay community to turn up to the events alone?

I don't think there's anything wrong with going alone. That's what I'll be doing as well when I go to Pride this year in Montreal, which isn't to say that I'd be closed off to the idea of going with other people should the opportunity arise, but I don't mind going alone either. I'm mostly going there for the experience and see what it's like.

I'm considering going, and if I do, it will be alone. Nothing wrong with it.
