What are your opinions on the Westboro Baptist Church?

What is there to say, really? Bunch of attention-whoring douchebags. I like that it seems some of the more intelligent ones have been defecting lately though.

 

I always thought of them as plain old wackoes do to there general behavior, and rumored insanity.

My reason, because they look like them

but they are the opposite of them

 

Harmful to society, and pathetic to a level that borders comedy.

 

They have a really good thing going on for them! I'm proud of the work they do for society.

 

They are really rotten people. It's absolutely sick that they picket funerals of dead soldiers and whatnot to spread their hate. Atleast some of them have sense and morals to leave that 'Church' and to start anew. I wonder why the US government still does not classify them as a hate group (tell me if I'm misinformed please). It's lucky that they are banned here in the UK.

I only know of them because they attacked a gaming convention that I think was called GamerX that was supposed to be a gathering of LGBT gamers.

And some guy from the church did a news report on this that was really funny. He was wearing a suit and standing in front of an MS power point background. Most people would say it's offensive, but I found it hilarious. How is saying "fag fag fag" news? such an idiot :b

I don't think there's much wiggle room here. If every last one of them came down with necrotizing fasciitis of the face, I wouldn't feel bad for a minute*.

*Except for the kids. They're just brainwashed; I'm talking about the adults.

I'm glad they're not allowed to step foot inside Canada, they've been banned by the government. I think they're a bunch of hypocritical jerks that preach something they don't understand properly. They clearly don't comprehend the true meaning of the bible - which is about promoting love, not spreading hate and using God to justify it.

 

Their protest area should be confined to the Delaware beach at high tide.
