I'm gay, and for the longest time I thought I was bi because when I looked at porn with women, I got turned on. I realize now that in real life, I don't find any girls attractive at all, so I now know and identify that I'm gay.

I think your orientation can really only be figured out by real life experiences, including actually having sex with people.

dude, I recommend you kick porn for a few months and let nature take its course. It's a nasty habit to get into and all it does is fill your brain with all these fantasies. Obviously porn is what's confusing you. Let nature take its course for a few months or a few years. i like girls exclusively and i love "straight" porn , i have also watched granny porn ...bondage, .....i dont like lesbian porn because too dramatic and fake. I don't like gay porn because its just weird to me.

The word is thrown around a lot these days in the media, but I once heard a radio doctor talking about sex addiction and discussing a sort of ramping up of that sort of stuff in sufferers (where at first they watch normal porn for their orientation, but need crazier and kinkier stuff as they go more and more). One thing they mentioned on the show that stuck with me was feeling guilty after the arousal wears off. Do you masturbate to things that later disgust you completely where it makes you feel ashamed, almost? Not a diagnoses but if you find you are getting carried away or there are consequences to this activity it is something to look into.

When I was much younger I used to masturbate to regulate my emotions as well and got into some weird stuff. Now I realize that the weird stuff was a means of forcing myself to find women sexy so I could go on not being gay - took me a decade to realize that without the kinks and the fetishes that I wasn't into the women much at all. May not be the same for you but just throwing things out that I experienced. Good luck with your issue.

Not exactly. It can vary from person to person. It can be many things, we don't know what to talk about.
But for the most part, you are correct.

Lemme revise what I said from my own experience: I would ALWAYS get nervous talking to girls because I thought I was attracted to them (romantically and sexually) but as I grew up into my own skin, I found it easier to talk to them because well I don't find myself attracted to them.
