Do you have plans for the future? What are they? (if you're comfortable sharing them) Do you feel like they're realistic? Do they ever scare you?

    My plans:

    1. Get surgery
    2. Enroll in college. I'm not sure if this is a good idea. I was going to get an apprenticeship job, move out, cut contact with my parents and never look back. But then I met some of the people from the apprenticeship, and without trying to sound mean, I felt a) frustrated by their lack of deep thought and b) that I could do so much more with my life. I let my parents convince me to go back to college, for the third time. I just don't know whether this time it will work, or if its just a stupid cycle where I lose motivation and then succumb to their bullying again.
    3. Either get a job or go to university. Then get a job. Move out, cut contact with family, never look back.
    4. At this point, the idea of being responsible cause my thoughts to spiral out of control. Have my own house? A partner? Kids? AHHHHH!!!

    My plans

    1. Get a PhD, do some some worthwhile research

    2. Learn to accept my sexuality properly, stop looking back at what I should have done, what I have done wrong. The whole "Loving Yourself"

    3. After PhD spend at least a year doing voluntary work full time, roughing it in hostels etc.

    4. Hopefully get married/partnered to some guy I love

    5. Adopt a couple of kids, I want to be a Dad so much its unreal

    6. Look after my parents and stuff when they get older. I would never ever put them into a home or anything, if they became in need of care I would find a way around it. Even becoming a full time carer for them if needed. They love me unconditionally, I want to love them the same

Get my GED, find a job as a server, put myself through cosmetology school, work as a hair stylist, and get surgery.

I would like kids down the line. A husband/boyfriend/partner would be nice but not necessary XD

The entire concept of 'the future' scares the SHIT out of me... But I do have a couple of plans/dreams that I've kinda thought about while daydreaming

    My realistic goals;
    1. Finish uni with a 2:1 or (if I can manage it) a first
    2. Train as an English Teacher
    3. Get a job and hopefully inspire some kids to give a shit about reading and writing
    4. Clear my student dept
    5. Get married
    6. Own a house

    My insane dreams:
    1. Get some writing published. I spend all my spare time writing and take creative writing modules on my course at uni, it would be nice to see that turn into something real.
    2. Have a kid (The process is long, complicated, and expensive). I'm really good with babies and little kids and I think I'd be a good Dad.

    1. Graduate from SWIHA
    2. Possibly go back for my degree.
    3. Become a professional artist (NOT realistic at this point)
    4. Get the hell out of West Virginia.
    5. Get some of the stuff on my bucketlist done (learn to blow glass, make some furniture, make some pottery, travel to a foreign country)
    6. Retire (which I already know isn't going to happen at the rate things are going)

That's like beauticians, like hair stylists (which is what I want to do, but you learn how to do it all at cosmetology schools, nails, makeup, etc). I really would looove to do something like that. It sounds like a lot of fun, and it's such an accepting field for a transperson to get into.

My sister's girlfriend is a massage therapist and she tried to get me into that, but I dunno....naked people.....moles....with hairs growing out of them, blech XD and her girlfriend has had some reeeal creeps think they were going to get more for their tips than she was going to give, sooo...

    - Move from this tiny town in the middle of Hell to Seattle, or somewhere near Seattle
    - Learn more on the way

    *Ahem* Here we go.

    1. Go to college(Psychology/Screenwriting Double Major)
    2. Go to Grad school for my PhD in Behavioral Neurosciences.
    3. Write/Publish the first few books of my first series while in college. (I'll be there for a while...)

    Now 3 things can happen.

    1. My novels can do exceedingly well and I can have a bit more freedom with the direction of my life. Which would mean focusing on my career as a novelist, screenwriter, etc.

    2. I can immediately get a job using my PhD or Masters in Screenwriting.

    3. I can go to med school off of my PhD, get my MD, and practice as a psychiatrist. I would most likely go into private practice, because it would allow me to continue leaving time to write.

Option one, fingers crossed!! Even if my novels do end up being very successful, I will still get my PhD. I love neurosciences and psychology.

    Here goes...

    1. Get published. In all hopes, become a best selling author. Or, at the very least, have something in the bookstore so I may delude myself into thinking I'm a best selling author.

    2. Go to college, strike out on own.

    3. Transition, bulk up, look good whilst doing it

    4. Possibly get married/settle down

    5. Adopt dogs, potentially a kid

    6. Move to Portland/Seattle and or Toronto

    7. Activism

    8. Develop a fine sense of humor. Perhaps an accent to go with it.

    9. Be generally interesting.

    1. Work hard at my job and get a good solid reputation
    2. Transfer to a therapist out here
    3. Continue getting my face lasered off
    4. ... um what's a good way to put this. Well I won't but I guess I could get prosthetics so I'd have literal balls of steel. Yeah that's pretty metal. The PC way of saying step 5 is "orchie", and I am really looking forward to it
    5. Continue my transition at my own pace without the T factories
    6. When the pieces are in place come out at work and go full time. Hopefully I keep my job but at the very least step 1 will keep some doors open for me.
    7. See my little open source project through
    8. Go somewhere safe to launch my little open source project
    9. And step 8's pretty much my life goal so whatever happens after that is unplanned
