There is alot of evidence that we are not the only sentient species in the world, Dolphins are possibly sentient like we are, they appear to have names for each other and complicated social structures, also they can recognise themselves in a mirror. They also seem to be similar to us in sexuality Dolphins Engage In Bisexuality And Even Homosexuality: Study
List of animals displaying homosexual behavior - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia don't fap to gay animal p0rns (and yes, dolphins are known to be kinky and sexual, they have sex for fun i think i read somewhere)
Personally I think we as humans have a lot more in common with other species than we think, and the term "sentient" is one I find silly, because I don't think it's anything you can really properly measure. There's a lot of homosexuality in other species. Bats, whales, elephants, lions, gazelles, hyenas, ducks, swans, bonobos, and like thousands of other species are noted to form homosexual bonds. There's even an entire species of lizard that are only female.
If it's the same one I'm thinking of, they reproduce via parthenogenesis and don't have sex at all, homosexual or otherwise (well, just homosexual since they wouldn't have any other choice ).
Yeah, I don't think that really counts, they don't have sex, I think asexual would be a more correct term
Technically, the form of reproduction is considered asexual. But they do engage in mating behaviors, including having sex with each other, to help stimulate ovulation.
