Concerning orientations, what annoys you about what people think and say about you?

Of course there is the obvious that you are straight, and everyone thinks you are gay.

But some women that are lesbians may get very offended when they are called gay, which is supposed to refer to homosexual men.

I personally get really furious with people that call me gay, when I'm bisexual. I just hate it: I'm not gay. And then they always say: "same thing". It's not the same thing! A gay male likes males only, a bisexual male like males and females. Being gay and bisexual are completely different, they can even be considered more different than heterosexual and homosexual! (Breath)

    So what annoys you???

That pisses me off, too. When I still only identified as female, I claimed to be bisexual, and one guy kept calling me a lesbian.

I also really hate when people are just straight-up ignorant. It's even worse when they feel the need to air their opinions loudly in public.

One thing that really gets me is when people are really quick to judge people. Usually, that and ignorance go hand in hand.

If only closed minds came with closed mouths.

OH! It really, really bothers me when random people feel the need to fill awkward silence with even more awkward conversation.

It's not linked to sexual orientation. It's more like this. Here's 5, and that's just a start:

    - flakiness
    - being phoney
    - having a superiority complex
    - shallowness (not as in being appearance conscious, but in personality and depth)
    - coldness

I life in a very...rural town. In this town, the boys are bred to act as masculine as humanly possible. So on the bus and in gym, the boys are constantly calling each other gay. As you all know, gay is considered an insult by many. This usually wouldn't bother me, but I hear it everyday. Every God damn day.

A few weeks ago, i heard guy call another guy a "gay homosexual fag."
What does that even mean? Is there a triple negative that I don't know about!?

Anyway, all I saw in my head was a merry homosexual cigarette.

I personally get annoyed when people ask too many questions. There's this whiny attitude that some people I know have when they call my name like "Chrisssssss" ><. I also don't like it when people are so stubborn to the point in which they refuse to compromise anything. If they say the sky is red, then by all means you have to agree with them. (I'm referring to my mother here, since she does this perfectly).

This video is literally my life. I actually hear these almost daily.

I mean, I guess that's what I get for loving girls so much. It's just the logic behind it, with girls acting differently around me in some ways... Well, some girls do. It's fun I guess, but at the same time it's kind of like "YEAH OKAY STOP NOTHING IS FIERCE."

When straight girls automatically think that I want in their pants just because of my orientation .My immediate thought after this happens is "STOP FLATTERING YOURSELF SWEETHEART"

For example, I had this happen to me when I was in a restaurant: I was sitting at my table with my ex- girlfriend (she was dressed as her normal boyish self that day) and she, my ex, got up to use the restroom and left the table just as these two other girls were coming down the aisle after her. I happened to smile at them because I was feeling in good spirits, but when they passed, one whispered(rather loudly might I add) "Oh my god I can't believe that girl was hitting on us. So gross."

    Just go :***: yourself lady

I absolutely hate when people use the word "gay" as an insult. Especially when they just constantly say that anything they don't like is "gay", or they look SO "gay" today. It pisses me off so much.

Making socialising look so easy and treating relationships with others as though they're disposable.

EDITS: Oops. Just answered based on the title and didn't read the OP, in which case I can't personally report any annoyances since the people who I'm out to is, relatively, limited in the first place....

People who assume that, because I'm gay, I instantly become a personification of the gay guy stereotype.

People who assume that, because I'm gay, all I want is to shag other guys all. fucking. day.

    No. Go away.

And when they ask questions like: "How can you like boys?", that's just a really insensitive, immodest and absurd question to ask. I just say "How can you not like boys?". And then they respond: "What kind of question is that?". Then I say " What kind of question is it when you ask me how I can like boys?". It's true though. Fair enough if they only like the opposite gender, but I don't constantly ask them how they can only like the opposite gender, and I would expect them not to constantly ask me how I like the same gender. And simply, I don't know why I like boys, I just do. I wish they could just deal with it.

    Seriously it's so many things.
    like:
I hate it when they say "just because you are a lesbian doesn't mean you have to dress like a guy." Of course it doesn't!I'm just more comfortable looking like that!!

Also I find it really REALLY stupid that people(mostly teenagers) think that calling a gay person(no matter if they are out or not) "faggot/gay/lesbian/dyke/transexual" is one of the greatest insults. I mean seriously that's the worst you can do bro?

And of course there is this "God said fags have to die, you will burn in hell, you walking sin!".And I'm like "Oh yeah?God said love everybody no matter what but I guess that this is a whole other thing, huh you dumb fuck?"
