Anyways, we are having a barbeque for the 4th with family.

We bought two beef rib slabs and I'll probably make them using my Caribbean dry rub recipe of brown sugar, allspice, salt, pepper, paprika, and nutmeg that's then coated with a pineapple rum BBQ sauce. Add some corn-on-the-cob and other sides to that.

We live close to a large military base so we'll get a nice 4th of July fireworks show.

Don't know about the rest of the weekend, though.

 

Its my dad's birthday, so I'll probably be sleeping

 

Me and my mate have the day off, though we just plan to stay in, cook a nice dinner, and watch the fireworks from the roof of our building, over the harbour. Luckily we have a clear view over the city, and there's generally a lot on annoying people out in the city that night. I've never lived in a place I can see them form where we've lived, so it's kinda exciting, even if in a low-key way.

 

I'll be plotting my revenge on Civilisation Rev.

 

I'll be working 12-9:30. If the fireworks haven't gone off here by the time I get off, I guess i'll go to the park and watch.

 

Fireworks and maybe cook out with my family. it is my aunts birthday though, wooow i can't believe she will be 45 O.O she seems to remain eternally 33 in my mind XD

 

Nothing, I probably will just set off fireworks and go to bed but My dogs birthday is today so i'm going to spend the day with her and Sing happy birthday and do the tradition that my mom started

The last 2 years we've done nothing. xD Our neighbors invited us to join them in our backyard (It's a shared backyard with 3 other apartments) for their fireworks, but otherwise nothing.

I plan on waking up at 5 am to go to swim practice, then hopefully I'll chill with some friends, and after that I'm going to see some fireworks show downtown.

 

I'm probably going to spend the day with my family. We're going to have a BBQ and after that we're going to the park to watch fireworks.

 

It's probably cleaning for the cookout that my family is planning to have with my grandmother. But instead of staying home for cookout, I plan to go to a festival with two of my friends. I'd rather spend as much time as I can with my good friend before he heads of to Japan for 5 yr (minimum)

 

*salivates*

Going to a state park. Lots of walking and hiking. Then food. :icon_mrgr

 

I have to work on the Fourth! Fireworks are probably illegal here in Colorado anyway.

Normally I'd light of a limited amount of my own fireworks/plus sit by the patio fire-pit & watch other peoples fireworks ... but the county where I live has a fire ban this year.

I'm kinda thinking of going to watch one of the free professional displays tonight - maybe the one in Denver

 

I was thinking of not creating fire hazards, reflecting on how much our founding fathers were sexist, racist, and heterosexist dirt bags (except for Thomas Paine, who's my homeboy), and running about two hours.
