I kinda think I want to come out as a lesbian to my mom, I have a feeling she will be supportive, but I am still very scared to do it. So I asked my therapist if she would help me with it and she agreed. My mom has agreed to come see my therapist with me next Tuesday and if I were to decide against coming out there is a lot of other things we can discuss and actually need to discuss but this could help pave the way through our relationship. Anyone else have an experience of coming out to a parent with a therapist in the room? How did it go? Should I do it? :help:
I don't have this experience, alhough I am about to have the opposite (coming out to therapist with Mom in the room). Keep us posted, and best of luck to you! =)
