So, last time I was at the mall, I bought pride dogtags and a pride sweat wristband. Now that my mom knows, and since the first day of school was today, I have a strong feeling all of my teachers would either give no shits about it, or actually be supportive. And I couldn't give two shits about what my classmates think about it, but the thing is, telling my mom that I want to wear them without her freaking out. Otherwise she would become her usual pissy, narcissistic, bitchy, evil, manipulative self if I didn't tell her and she found out through somebody else when she substitutes at my school later this week.

Ultimately, you don't have to ask for her permission, but I understand that you don't want to react badly. Just ask her if you can wear a few bracelets? You haven't got to be specific over what they represent?
