Staying in the closet as a transguy is a challenge for me.
In the real world, I have a volatile temperament (I don't try to be mean, though; I'm just bad at socializing) and I'm pretty suckish at reading real people (maybe because autism?).
This is a bad combination for keeping my status secret, since whenever someone mentions gender differences or makes a trans/homophobic comment, I leap at them like a crazy fan at a convention leaps at the creator of their favorite anime/game. I'm just glad I'm on the West Coast of America, where people are generally liberal.
How do I keep myself from being such a transparent closet?
