I know it's difficult but I think the best thing you can do is accept the situation, and move on. It is painful to love someone who doesn't love you. Many of us have probably been there, and many more will go there.

Being gay/lesbian makes the chances much more likely I think, because it is likely that the person we desire will be straight.

I guess that doesn't help much really... (*hug*)

Eh. But she isn't straight. So I guess I feel kind of hopeless I guess.
    Whatever.
If it isn't meant to be, it isn't.

I think that kinda makes it worse. If she was straight then there is an obvious and understandable reason why it can't be. But in this case you don't have that obvious barrier, so it seems like it could have happened, but didn't.

It does seem as though it just isn't mean to be.

The good thing though is that she tried to refuse you nicely. It was a difficult situation for her and she tried to be as gentle as possible about it.

What would be really cool, though I don't know if it's possible, is if you can remain or become good friends out of this.

Meanwhile here's another (*hug*) to add to the collection.

That's a good idea. Try to avoid listening to sad music, it just makes you feel worse.

LMAO KYLE! I just laughed so hard.
It's okay I guess because nothing really came out of it. Just the rejections that hurt. Either way, I suppose I could start scouting my school...I hear we've got a flourishing gay community- I just don't know much of it. & what part I do know are the boys. =P
